Blumey is an AI-powered rental contract analysis tool operated by Blumey (blumey.eu). We help tenants in the Netherlands understand their rental contracts by identifying potential red flags in plain English.

What data we collect

When you use Blumey, here is exactly what happens with your data:

• Contract text: The text you paste is sent directly to Anthropic's API for processing and is never stored on our servers. It is deleted immediately after the scan completes.
• Usage data: We may collect basic anonymous analytics such as page views and scan counts to understand how the service is used. This data contains no personal information.
• Payment data: If you purchase a full report, payment is processed by Stripe or Gumroad. We never see or store your card details.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not store the text of your rental contract
• We do not log your IP address in connection with your contract
• We do not create user profiles or accounts
• We do not use cookies for tracking
• We do not sell your data to third parties

Third-party services

Blumey uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic API: Contract text is sent to Anthropic for AI processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
• Netlify: Our website is hosted on Netlify. See Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Your rights under GDPR

As a user in the European Union, you have the following rights:

• The right to access any personal data we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your data

• The right to data portability
